GOTS

The Standard Global Organic Textile is promoted by the main international leading organizations in organic agriculture, in order to guarantee responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector, and the vast international recognition obtained allows, to those who produce and sell organic textile products, to have a provision a certification accepted in all the main markets. Gots provides for the release of an environmental declaration verified by the third party which certifies: the content of natural fibers from organic farming of both intermediate and finished products, the maintenance of traceability along the entire production process, the restrictions in the use of chemicals and respect for environmental and social criteria in all phases of the production chain, from the collection of the natural fibers to the subsequent manufacturing phases in the field, to the labeling of the finished product. They can be certified on the basis of GOTS textile products, manufacturing activities and chemicals for the textile industry.

 GRS

Products certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) contain recycled material that has been (independently) verified at each stage of the supply chain, from the source to the final product. In addition, social, environmental, and chemical criteria related to processing are required.
