GOTS

The Standard Global Organic Textile is promoted by the main international leading organizations in organic agriculture, in order to guarantee responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector, and the vast international recognition obtained allows, to those who produce and sell organic textile products, to have a provision a certification accepted in all the main markets. Gots provides for the release of an environmental declaration verified by the third party which certifies: the content of natural fibers from organic farming of both intermediate and finished products, the maintenance of traceability along the entire production process, the restrictions in the use of chemicals and respect for environmental and social criteria in all phases of the production chain, from the collection of the natural fibers to the subsequent manufacturing phases in the field, to the labeling of the finished product. They can be certified on the basis of GOTS textile products, manufacturing activities and chemicals for the textile industry.

 GRS

The Standard Global Recycled is promoted by Textile Exchange, one of the most important international non-profit organizations for responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector. The standard recognizes the importance of recycling for the growth of a sustainable production and consumption model, with the aim of promoting the reduction of the consumption of resources (virgin raw materials, water and energy) and increase the quality of recycled products.

The GRS provides for the release of an environmental declaration verified by the third party which ensures the content of recycling materials of their products, both intermediate and finished, the maintenance of traceability along the entire production process, the restrictions in the use of chemicals and The respect of environmental and social criteria in all phases of the production chain from the recycling of materials, to the subsequent manufacturing phases, up to the labeling of the finished product. The phases that do not fall within the certification are the collection of waste, the sorting, selection and grouping. Products and manufacturing activities can be certified on the basis of the GRS.
